It is safe to say that this walk was both successful yet highly unsuccessful. For those who love a typical hike, you would not of enjoyed this, what some may find frustrating, incredibly slow and unsatisfying, was instead a pixie wander for the 6 of us. Sticks were whittled, snacks were gobbled and at every rock found, even just a few meters from the last, it deserved the opportunity to be admired and scrambled, both on and through. Day 1 ended with a game of pitch-black forest, man-hunt which ended in genuine fear of loosing myself and Charlie from the rest of the gang. And the grand finale was the pub grub in Lustleigh. The weather was perfect, as were the big and small views, I wouldn't of rather the weekend go any other way... :)
